Abstract:
There is demonstrated, that the jamming suppression in the Ultra-Wide-Band radars can be provided by the same way, used in the Narrow-Band (NB) radars. The realization way is the organization of the additional spatial receiver channels. The optimal vector of the multichannels special data processing is synthesized accomplished the likelihood ratio method. The features of the optimal vector realization are noticed. The main features are to provide the introducing multi output time delay lines (TDL) into every additional receiver channel. The step of the TDL is depended from the signal bandwidth.
The synthesized jamming protection devices for UWB radars and their efficiency estimations are demonstrated under different conditions: one or multi jamming sources from known or unknown angle directions. The special for UWB radar case when the useful signal bandwidths are more than jamming bandwidth are considered too. The effect of jamming protection is illustrated by comparison energetic detection index with the same index for the case, when jamming is absent.
