High Density Power Supply Device of Solid-State UHF Pulse Transmitter

Abstract:
In this paper the basic questions of the solid-state UHF pulse transmitter power supplies are considered. The basic requirements of such transmitters power supplies are elicitated. The mostly used circuit of modern radar solid-state UHF pulse transmitter power supplies is analysed. The basic disadvantages of this circuit specifically small use of the energy stored in the capacitor are shown. The improved circuit of solid-state UHF pulse transmitter power supplies free from many limitation is developed. The work of the improved circuit is analysed. The basic formulas are developed. With examples comparison of these two power supplies circuits has been performed. Comparison demonstrated possibility of UHF-transmitters power supplies weight-dimension factors considerable improvement with the advanced circuit. The field of application of the developed circuit is recommended.
