Abstract:

Today, when hen mobile devices are used in government information systems, additional threats to information security arise due to the specific features of their software and hardware. It is necessary to develop approaches for using secure mobile devices with a domestic operating system.

Goal – enhance the information security of government information systems by incorporating mobile devices.

The need for using mobile devices in GIS has been examined, and the emerging threats to information security have been analyzed. The necessity of utilizing a domestic operating system in mobile devices within GIS has been assessed. The requirements imposed on the mobile operating system have been investigated. An analysis of existing domestic mobile operating systems has been conducted.

The results can be utilized by GIS developers, organizations operating GIS, as well as decision-makers in GIS information security. They can employ these results in the development of strategies for the use of secure mobile devices and operating systems within GIS.
