Abstract:

of NbSe3 and were poorly studied. The compound NbS3 grown in IRE RAS, in which the CDW is highly coherent at room temperature, made it possible to study this phenomenon in more detail.

Goal. To clarify, how the widths of the Shapiro steps and the threshold field depend on the CDW displacements in times on the order of the period of the RF signal.

Result. In the units of displacement of the CDW in half-period of the RF voltage, the oscillations are strictly periodic, the period being equal to the period of pining of the CDW.

Practical meaning. When developing a RF sensor based on CDW, taking into account the periodic oscillations could increase their functionality.
