Abstract:
The review of possibilities and peculiarities of radar data use for agriculture is represented. Parameters of radar data acquisition and objects features influencing the radar image are analyzed. The possibility of practical application of satellite radar data is investigated on the example of the assessment of abandoned and cultivated agricultural lands in the Volga Delta using Radarsat-2.
