Abstract:
The technology of transferring graphene on a substrate with an artificially created periodic surface structure visually reminding diffraction lattice was developed. Characterization of the produced samples by using atomic force and scanning electron microscopy showed that in these structures the fields of suspended graphene as well as graphene that contacts substrate alternate and this results in a periodic modulation of its properties. Transport measurements showed the presence of anisotropy of the conductivity, also its non-monotonic increase with increasing concentration of carriers in the bilayer graphene was discovered.
