Abstract:
The color centers formation was examined in ion-implanted and neutron irradiated diamonds by photoluminescence (PL) and Raman techniques. It has been shown that H19 centers (PL band with ZPL at 580 nm) are formed in a natural and CVD diamonds regardless of radiation damage method. The effects of local mechanical stresses in the CVD diamonds on the PL spectra of H19 center were
examined. The PL bands in a range of 760-790 nm which were not observed before in diamonds are found in [H]+ and [D]+ implanted CVD diamonds.
