Abstract:
We investigated properties of magnetostatic surface spin waves propagating in irregular narrow ferromagnetic waveguides. Developed mathematical model is based on Garekin method. Theoretical investigations are proved by Brillouin spectroscopy and numerical simulation. It is shown that discrete spectrum leads to multi-mode propagation regime, wave beats and energy redistribution. It was shown that width effect and waveguide irregularity plays crucial role in propagation process on the nanoscale.
