Abstract:
This work deals with the impact of a periodic discharge in a liquid flow (PDFL) on the properties of a rapidly quenched TiNiCu ribbon for the formation of the two-way shape memory effect (SME). It has been presented a method for the formation of the two-way SME and obtained experimental samples with possibility of reversible angular displacement up to 45 degrees after PDFL treatment.
