Theoretical estimation of effectiveness of lateral-electric-field-excited resonator

Abstract:
The new method of calculation of electromechanical coupling coefficient of piezoelectric lateral-electric-field-excited resonator is de-veloped. This method allows determining the efficiency of excitation of the resonator at a certain frequency using finite element modeling. It is shown that the results obtained by this method are in good agreement with the estimates of the efficiency obtained by other methods.
