A new method for analyzing the time-frequency dynamics of background electrical activity of the brain are described by means of which at least three main features of Parkinson\'s disease (PD) in the early stage are detected: 1) interhemispheric asymmetry of the time-frequency characteristics (EEG) in the central leads of the motor area of the cerebral cortex; 2) the emergence of EEG rhythm in these leads in the frequency range of 4-6 Hz and its relatedness to the electromyograms (EMG) and mechanical tremor of the contralateral limbs in the tremor form of PD; 3) disorganization of the dominant rhythm corresponding to the general ideas about the disorganization of the various systems in Parkinson\'s disease.
