Abstract:
Development of compact ultra wideband receiver for man portable systems of radiomonitoring and passive location is a highly complicated engineering task. The main problem is optimal combination of design, circuit engine and production technology. In the present article the variant for designing of man portable receiver on the basis of given requirements in operation frequencies range from 0,15 GHz to 18,0 GHz is suggested. Analysis of requirements shows that foremost become the questions connected with DC power and weight of the device. The main factor influencing device-s weight is its dimension reduction of which obtained due to the increase of elements integration and their placement on the single-substrate in the one package. At the same time the questions connected with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of receiver scheme elements are solved due to the following: ensuring the measures for shielding and isolation of PCB design; partitioning of receiver-s package; installation of microwave absorber on covers and compartments of the package. Minimum DC power is achieved due to the optimal circuit design and choice of modern elements. Climatic conditions requirements are provided with hermetic package. At the same time EMI-shielding is ensured due to the placing of conductive shield form gasket in the places of package and covers contact. As a result pre-production models are produced, which have successfully stood the climatic and mechanical tests in accordance with the requirements in question. The mentioned above confirms the given results.
