Abstract:
The piezoelectric resonator with a lateral electric field based on the plate of lithium niobate of X-cut was experimentally studied. The dependencies of the resonant frequency and Q-factor of series and parallel resonances and effective electromechanical coupling coefficient on the width of the damping part of electrodes for different values of gap between them were obtained. It has been found that by choosing the gap between the electrodes and the size of the coating one can reach the suitable characteristics of resonator in the certain limits.
