Abstract:
Computer simulation and experimental investigation of properties of guided and leaky modes in multilayer cylindrical W-fibers were presented in this paper. It was shown that leaky modes might significantly influence on properties of radiation propagation into cylindrical W-fibers depending on structure and they should be taken into account in the study and design of fibers.
