Abstract:
We demonstrate that samples of quasi one-dimensional compound with CDW TaS3, being unique actuators, can also be detectors of resonant vibrations. The proposed method seems to be most promising for high-frequency oscillation studies, primarily in samples of micron and nanometer sizes.
