Abstract:
The growing increase of mobile subscribers and more dense base station deployment for mobile communication systems inevitably lead to poorer Quality of service (QoS) and system capacity due to multiple access interference (MAI) and non-Gaussian behavior of signal and noise plus interference fluctuations. It is for that reason that the real efficiency of CDMA-systems in non-Gaussian channels is basically defined by possible attained performance, system capacity and computational complexity of the employed algorithms and equipment for coprocessing of random number of signals in complex noise and interference conditions. This situation is quite typical for this class of communication systems. A new approach for synthesis of combined poly-Gaussian algorithms in non-Gaussian noise is proposed. Mathematical model for multiuser detection that takes the real channel conditions is observed. The extended classification of multiuser detection algorithms is also proposed and finally new poly-Gaussian quasi-optimal algorithm and device for multiuser resolution is obtained.
