The reduction of intrasystem interference influence in broadband wireless access networks using «NT_21Vek» software complex

Abstract:
The article focuses on reducing the influence of intrasystem interference influence on bandwidth in fixed broadband wireless access networks by optimizing the network parameters using «NT_21Vek» software complex. The analysis of 802.11n standard broadband wireless access network, deployed in Kazan on the base of russian LLC "Infinet" equipment showed the strong influence of intrasystem interference on network bandwidth. For the correct registration of intrasystem interference influence it is necessary to make real estimations of signals and interference levels created by other channels of broadband access network, for every receiving point, which can be obtained by using geographic information systems. The analysis of existing specialized geographic information systems showed that they can-t solve full problem. In this regard, the «NT_21Vek» software complex has been developed, which implements the tasks of analysis and optimization of broadband wireless access on the criterion of minimizing the maximum load on the base station to provide increasing of fixed broadband wireless networks bandwidth by changing the power of base stations and the directions of base station and subscriber units antenna azimuth. The description of the developed software complex and the solution of the optimization of base stations - and subscriber units - sectors - technical parameters was brought on a fragment of a communication network of LLC «New Technologies of the XXI century», operating in the frequency range 6GHz on the criterion of minimum of base station maximum load.
