Abstract:
At present the problem of network security is very crucial. The need of information protection from unauthorized access or hacking arises as in case of the data transmission through the communication channels, and in case of the data storage on various memory devices. Especially acute the problem of information security when it relates to government, military objects or commercial and financial structures, because unauthorized access to such information could lead to unpredictable consequences.
In this paper the cryptographic symmetric encryption system with use of the deterministic dynamical chaos was developed and investigated. As the main element of the encryption algorithm the chaos generator based on the Lorenz attractor is serves. During the research of proposed encryption algorithm its effectiveness for practical use has been established. The advantages include the simplicity of the algorithm and high degree of reliability of realization.
