Abstract:
Models and methods of the optimization of GPRS protocol stack have been considered. The purpose of this work is development of the method of the optimization of the parameters of protocols RLC/MAC from GPRS stack for the purpose of an improvement in the indices of quality of servicing. The analysis of the GPRS protocol stack has been made, the generalized model of RLC/MAC protocols from GPRS stack has been developed, the procedures for controlling the GPRS stack parameters to optimize the quality of service indices have been reviewed, the software for computer modeling and research of the GPRS protocols algorithms for different types of traffic and different channel conditions have been developed.
