Detection of external acoustic impact over optical fiber via interferometer of backscattered light

Abstract:
The results of analysis of interferometer of backscattered light for the acoustic signal detection are presented. Phase diversity technique for detection of backscattered field is proposed. The demodulated signal contains fading regions which origins were analyzed and methods for avoiding fading are discussed.
