Abstract:
Surface acoustic waves propagation in inhomogeneous waveguide and mutual mode coupling is considered. It is shown, that in such waveguides the spatial separation of surface acoustic wave modes is possible. It is suggested to use acoustic metamaterial as a substrate in order to enhance spatial frequency separation of surface acoustic wave modes.
