Distribution of electric potential in the resonator with the cross-section exciting field

Abstract:
The distribution of electrical field in the gap of the piezoelectric resonator with lateral exciting field was theoretically analyzed. The analysis has shown that in the middle of the gap the electric field is practically homogeneous if the gap is greatly more than the plate thickness. At that there exists the significant normal component of the field under the electrodes.
