Abstract:
Superconducting Integrated Receiver (SIR) comprises in one chip a planar antenna combined with an SIS mixer, a superconducting Flux Flow Oscillator (FFO) acting as a local oscillator and a second SIS harmonic mixer (HM) for the FFO phase locking. In this paper the results of the FFO study at 200-400 GHz are presented. The linewidth well below 7 MHz and possibility of continuous frequency tuning in all this frequency range has bee demonstrated.
