Metallodielectric Composite Medium as a Low-Reflectance Coating in Optical Region

Abstract:
Optical properties of composite medium consisting of a transparent dielectric matrix with inclusion of silver nanoparticles of various sizes and shapes are investigated theoretically. It is shown that for a certain geometric parameters of constituents, intensity reflection coefficient may be considerably decreased in specified spectral regions of visible radiation
