Nonlinear and linear electric models of the hydrogen fuel element are offered. These models allow of developing of hydrogen fuel cells condition diagnostics methods that can be realized without fuel cell working interruption. On basis of an experimental measurements of the fuel element impedance frequency characteristics the offered model parameters identification was carried out. Dependences of model parameters on a fuel cell operating mode were considered.
