Abstract:

Modern medicine faces a number of challenges: a shortage of doctors, old equipment, and the inability to receive medical care. This significantly complicates the timely diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The lack of a cytology dataset makes it impossible to develop and create an artificial intelligence-based model and to implement it in healthcare.

The goal of the article is to create a standardized dataset of biological fluids, on the basis of which a multimodal model will be developed for use by doctors-morphologists.

A dataset containing scanned images of blood smears made using a light microscope has been obtained. The marking of the key elements of blood smears on the obtained images has been carried out.

The introduction of machine learning-based software products into healthcare will solve a number of problems facing it. This project will allow us to develop multimodal models that can automate the process and improve the quality of diagnostics, as well as become a reliable tool to help in the daily routine of a doctor.
