The problem area of modern automated systems is characterized by both significant achievements and significant shortcomings. So far, the widespread use of software and hardware does not lead to a decisive improvement in the situation.
Moreover, the use of new software and hardware can lead to new problems. It is necessary to rethink the problems of automated systems from the point of view of applying the capabilities of software and hardware in them. New approaches are needed, structuring, from the point of view of the problems of automated systems, the capabilities provided by modern software and hardware. One such approach focuses on the linguistic provision of automated systems.
In the present case, linguistic support is intended to create and modify information and software of automated systems for scheduling processing of target objects, for example, observation objects in space survey. It seems that the basis of linguistic support should be a special unified system of information forms. For linguistic support, a single formal RADICAL language is used, allowing for different representations. Using these information forms, the problem area is presented in both active (working) and passive states. Constructs constructed from such information forms form a single model.
This model represents an objectively single problem area of the automated system. The model provides a fundamental opportunity to represent the problem area with the necessary accuracy. It is possible to represent the problem area both "in static" and "in dynamics." It is necessary to consider the use of information forms as the basis for linguistic support of an automated system for planning the processing of target objects of a wide class.
The practice of using information forms indicates the advisability of using them to model problem areas of complex automated systems, to create and modify information and software of such systems.
