The paper presents data on the protective effect of 5-HT1A receptor agonist buspirone on adaptive behavior in rats who experienced stress in the newborn. The use of the battery of behavioral tests made it possible to detect more pronounced anxiolytic and antidepressant effects of buspirone in female individuals.
