Abstract:

The article describes an application of information technologies for the modeling of biological processes in the cells of living organisms: the effects of radiation or of the oxidative stress in particular. We are interested in the changes of ribosomal and extracellular DNA after exposure of cells to one of these impacts. The result of computer simulation was successfully confirmed experimentally and gives the possibility of planning the new research in this direction of molecular biology. The algorithms and data structures developed during the design and programming may be useful for programmers, who are interested in computer simulation and compilation theory.
