Abstract:
Saccadic eye movements, combined with movements of the head and hands in the horizontal plane in response to visual stimuli using the patented hardware and software system for investigate of motor activity [2] in 28 patients with discirculatory encephalopathy (DE), and 47 patients with Parkinson\'s disease (PD) compared with a control group of healthy subjects.Eye movements were recorded using EOG. There was statistically significant (p <0.05) increase in the latent period and duration of saccades, movements of the head and hands in patients. Unlike patients with PD in patients with DE was observed increase in latent periods and duration of all movements. Patients with DE showed variability of amplitudes, bad fixation of gaze on the target, and deviation of the eyeballs during and after saccades. The results of the study showed specificity of violations of the programming processes of eye, head and hands move-ments in patients with PD and DE [3]. This can assist clinicians in the implementation of functional diagnostics of nosology, the definition of medical tactics at DE, PD.
