Abstract:
In microelectrode studies and in the method of fixing the potential authors studied the effect on the neurons of pedal ganglia of a snail Planorbarius corneus amthizol succinate (SA) and amthizol disuccinate (DSA) in comparison with amthizol (A) at concentrations of 10, 100 and 1000 μM when the extracellular app. In the first part, they evaluated the dynamics of changes of resting potential (PP), impulsive activity (IA), the parameters of the action potential (AP) and total ion currents (in the first derivative AP - dV/dt). In the second - register changes the amplitudes of the incoming (sodium-calcium) in- and out- (slow potassium) ion currents and the nature of the changes in their kinetics of activation and inactivation (qualitatively). At concentrations of 10 and 100 μM they caused a similar dose-dependent and reversible hyperpolarization 1-4 mV, accompanied by a decrease in the frequency of AP without changing their duration and without reducing the total ion currents (dV/dt). At a concentration of 1000 μM A slightly (1-5 mV) depolarized neurons, reversible on 5-8 mV decreased the amplitude of AP. The amplitude of the sodium and calcium ionic currents is changed a little, at an action A potassium currents diminished on 7-15% from a norm. On membranotropic activity of a substance are arranged in a row: A > SA > DSA and draw conclusions about their ability to modulate the functional state of the cells.
