Metrological properties of the senses

Abstract:
Measuring systems are the most important means of information support of managed objects. There is a need to create new, more sophisticated measuring systems. Wildlife is one of the sources of new knowledge, ideas and solutions. Research metrological properties senses the author has developed a method of identifying measuring bio-systems based on comparing them with technical counterparts. Studies have shown that the senses regardless of perceived physical quantities have the unified structure. Measuring structure in the sense organs, unlike technical analogues, have two forms of implementation. The reaction of the sensor to an external stimulus is perceived by a variety of receptor cells. As the origin have special receptors that perceive the averaged value of the measured effects. Receptors in the sense organs consist of standardized elements. Their various combinations give receptors different metrological properties. The use of multiple receptors having different metrological properties, improves accuracy and reliability of measurements.
