Abstract:
The purpose of the study was to assess the role of EEG initial type on EEG and electrocardiogram (ECG) changes in adolescents aged 14-17 with autonomic dysfunction syndrome (ADS) after hyperventilation test (HV). According to the EEG were established three types of its organization - the optimal EEG type, the type of desynchronous EEG and type with paroxysmal EEG activity, including bilateral and lateralized EEG slow-wave discharges. Adolescents with EEG paroxysmal activity compared to those with other types of bioelectrical brain organization have a higher risk of cardiac arrhythmias, which are based on the slowing of intraventricular conduction under conditions of stress accompanied by severe electrolyte changes.
