Abstract:
A method of calculating the number of nodes-rivals per channel for messaging in a network with random multiple access. The analysis is performed on the example of the most complicated Access protocol predictive p-Persistent CSMA. The protocol is widely used in industrial neurochips networks (LonWorks, BacNet), wireless local area networks (802.11 Wi-Fi), etc. The proposed method, compared with the known, is based on individual parameters of nodes: heterogeneity of message flows and their intensity, variety of addressing service delivery, and competitive features of the protocol. The method is used in the existing network models to improve the accuracy of quantitative assessment of quality of service.
