Abstract:
The aim of this work was to investigate the microcirculation of capillaries of newborns of the first 6 days of their life and their mothers microcirculation in parallel. The measurement of capillaries, capillary network , blood circulation, the estimation of static and dynamic parameters allowed to understand the features of microcirculation of this category of newborns, to characterize structure-functional changes in microcirculation system firstly connected with transition from placental type of blood circulation to «the normal» one of grown up person. The investigation parallel with mother-s microcirculation allowed to carry out comparative analysis of women-s microcirculation features first 6 days after delivery and to determine the specific of blood vessels functions. 77 newborns from the 1 to the 6 days of their birth and 75their mothers at the same period were investigated simultaneously. Microcirculation monitoring was carried out on eponychium (noninvasive, painless investigation) with computer capillaroscope. During the study capillary network visualization, capillary blood flow in order to assess the state of the microcirculation was made. Also characteristic video clips for further processing of the data and their interpretation was recorded into the archive. The following results were achieved: 1. Dynamic indexes: line and volume blood circulation is 2-4 times lower than in adults, perfusion balance is negative (outflow dominats the inflow). 2. Line and volume blood speed in newborns of the 1-4 days remains low enough. After the 5th day these parameters increase significantly with the following decrease on the 6 day. 3. Perfusion balance of the first 4 days is negative and becomes positive on the 5 day and on the 6 day becomes negative again. Conclusion Accordingly, the «neonatal effect of 5th day» was identified. The same effect had their mothers also. Perfusion balance increased till isoline on 5 day after delivery and on the 6 day became negative again.
