Abstract:
It is shown that in 24 hours after intranasal introduction of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCN) to rats, according to immunological analysis of some cytokines expression, Th1-type of immune response activated in posterior part and Th2-type activated in anterior part of the brain. In the same time, according to immunohistochemical study, introduction of SWCN didn't influence on c-fos expression in all studied brain structures. That is, the activity of a brain didn't change.
