Abstract:
The paper considers the problem of determining the criteria of border states. It is stated that many questions connected with accurate diagnosis of human death are not solved up to this day. To solve these problems, we propose to refer to the historical knowledge of ancient medicine of different nations. We search, study, and perform a conceptual modeling of neuroanatomical and angioanatomical processes of crossing the border states, and make a comparison of these studies with numerous examples of real-world clinical situations. An objective criterion is developed, by which one can indirectly judge a person's death. This criterion enables to enhance significantly the objectivity and accuracy of the estimates at the expense of its indirect determination, that is very important in clinical and prognostic practice.
