Abstract:
Using biometrics to confirm the identity involves the use of physical characteristics, such as the face , voice or fingerprint, for the purpose of identification. Comparison of fingerprints is the most successful biometric identification technology for its ease of use, lack of outside interference and reliability. Fingerprint consists of grooves and streaks forming a complex pattern that is unique to each person, and therefore, provides the optimal method of verification. Fingerprint recognition is the most common static method of biometric identification, based on this method is unique for each person drawing papillary patterns on the fingers. Using fuzzy Delaunay triangulation for the problem of recognition of human fingerprint. With 60 minutiae of the template (about 180 bytes) will approximately Fuzzy Delaunay triangulation 80 triangles (used 7 + 57-4 = 235 bytes of each triangle and hence 18 KB). This is a serious reduction in the size template fingerprint.
