Abstract:
Objective: Noise affecting evaluation on level of attention, precision and accuracy.
To reach the goal of this research, a testing have been conducted to reveal relations between external noise and level of attention as well as intellectual efficiency.
Testing was held in 3 stages. First stage was made without noise affecting test subject. Following noise affect tests were compared to this first test. Second and third testing stages were conducted under continuous impulse noise affecting test subject.
Analysis of the result was made by using the neural network smoothing function. Multi-layer perceptron with one hidden function layer of activation th(.) was used to smooth the results selection and identify characteristic features. This method allowed to divide a group of test subjects into 3 subgroups according to ability of maintaining the concentration under a constant external noise influence. Based on this research I have come to conclusion that selection of employees who would be able to resist external acoustic influence, while doing monotonous work requiring a high level of concentration can be possible.
