Abstract:
A new method for modeling and analysis of spatial-dynamic peculiarities of the subjects - oculomotor activity is suggested. It is based on representing the gaze movement on the stimulus surface with the aid of stochastic continuous-time Markov processes. The probability models adequacy identification and evaluation procedure and the classifier-building method, which allows estimating a degree of conformity of gaze movement of observed distributions to standard distributions gained for various tested groups, are considered. Based on the obtained results, the soft-hardware is developed for the subjects - diagnostics on the basis of their oculomotor activity analysis. Examples of practical application of the proposed method to estimate the reading skills formedness of junior school students and the mathematical skill level of university and secondary school students are given.
