It was studied the effect of ideal optical blooming in thin composite film coatings based upon PMMA polymer matrix filled with Ag nanoparticles. A numerical modeling and experimental study of optical properties of the coatings obtained was performed. It was developed a technology for deposition of nanocomposite metal-polymer films of the thickness of 50 µm on glass and silicon substrates. It was established that nanostructured films can be used as highly efficient blooming coatings whose physical properties are sufficiently different from interference blooming coatings.
