This article is dedicated to the study of the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in the assembly production of engineering enterprises in the context of digitalization and globalization. It examines key aspects, including the theoretical foundations of ERP, their integration with CAD/CAM and IoT technologies, as well as specific challenges faced by companies during implementation. The advantages of ERP systems are analyzed, such as the optimization of business processes, reduction of production lead times, and cost savings. Based on practical experience with the implementation of 1C:ERP in Russian enterprises, recommendations for the stages of implementation and risk minimization are presented. The results of the study emphasize the strategic importance of selecting an ERP system to enhance the competitiveness and resilience of engineering companies in an unstable environment.
