Abstract:

The steady complication and increase in the number and type of tasks solved by modern information management systems, the growth of their structural and functional complexity, the increase in the importance and responsibility of the tasks assigned to them, determine their structure as a whole, the main requirements imposed on them and determine the problem of ensuring their reliability. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the possibility of implementing redundancy methods using various types of backup schemes for solving problems related to ensuring the reliability of information management systems operating in real time. The obtained results allow for rational distribution of reliability between the component parts of the system, due to the use of various redundancy methods and backup schemes, as well as the choice of a rational structure that ensures the highest values of reliability indicators in order to perform the functions assigned to the system. Keywords: reliability, equipment, information management system, redundancy.
