Abstract:

The problem discussed in the article is the need to determine the possibility of using and providing an effective solution to current computing problems on a high-performance computing system with parallel information processing. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the effectiveness of parallel computing in high-performance real-time computing systems with increasing complexity of the technical problems being solved and the proposed approach for assessing their performance when executing many algorithms. The work analyzes the effectiveness of using parallelism, which usually consists of assessing the resulting acceleration of the computation process – reducing the time required to solve a problem. The result of the work is an assessment of the resulting acceleration with increasing complexity of the technical problems being solved, which determines how effectively parallel computing can be organized on a high-performance computing system when determining the maximum possible acceleration of the problem solving process.
