In conditions of a crisis state of economy, deterioration of a financial condition of the organizations, falling of solvent demand of the population against the high competition in the market of the information technologies (IT), the assessment of efficiency of IT is actual both for consumers, and for suppliers of IT products. In spite of the fact that a large number of methods of an assessment of efficiency of IT based, mainly, on identification of effects and expenses from their introduction is known, now there is no uniform integrated approach to its carrying out. Its creation is connected with the solution of problems of absence: uniform conceptual terms framework for carrying out researches in the considered subject domain; uniform classification signs for allocation of types of IT and effects from their introduction; uniform system of criteria and indicators of efficiency of IT and approach to formation of information base of an assessment of efficiency of IT for the allocated types of IT, etc.
