Abstract:
A method for secondary processing signals in radar system (RLS), a short-range (MD), based on the use of the principles of pattern recognition theory. As useful objects to be detected and maintenance are considered human beings, are in the open or in a closed room inside buildings. The essence of the approach is the introduction of various features useful purposes (objects to be detected, and maintenance), formed in each bin (azimuth-distance) two-coordinate radar. Characteristic values are used to calculate the resulting statistics on which target detection occurs in each bin for each time frame data (primary sensing results).
For purposes signs generated in each element of the radar resolution, the following: indication of exceeding the threshold amplitude primary signal, the difference signal amplitudes of two adjacent frames, the average amplitude of the five frame average amplitude difference over five frames. The last two features are dynamic, so they take into account changes in the reflection properties of useful purposes in time.
To assess the quality of secondary processing introduced performance indicators, taking into account the appearance of false marks and omissions objectives within a specified time interval of observation, as well as coordinate values assessment accompanied abnormalities purposes.
The results of the secondary data obtained on the basis of full-scale experiment with the layout of the radar. Estimates of the values of performance of secondary processing, based on the use of the proposed method showed good results, prov-ing the feasibility of this approach in practice.
