The estimation of measurement accuracy of information parameters of the signal along with the correlated additive non-Gaussian noise

Abstract:
We considered the issues related to the estimation of measurement accuracy of the information parameters of the signal. These information parameters carry the information about the motion of extended objects, along with the correlated additive non-Gaussian noise. It is shown that in the case of correlated non-Gaussian noise, the increase of the correlation coefficient leads to the increase of the generalized signal-to-interference ratio which, in its turn, leads to improved accuracy of measurement of parameters. The dependences are obtained, showing that reduced error of information parameter measurement is affected not only by the magnitude of the generalized signal-to-noise ratio but also by accounting for non-Gaussian nature of the influencing additive noise, leading to a significant improvement in the accuracy of measurement of signal parameters.
