Abstract:
Theoretic problems of new generation electronic radio control systems (ERCSs) development are considered to be subject to first-priority solving. The origin of designated problems is conditioned by taking into arms service the strategy of non-contact network-centric wars. The primary problems are: 1. Development of new basic relations underlying optimization of guidance systems and weapons. 2. Development of new approaches to the assessment of ERCSs perfection. 3. Development of mathematical theory for synthesis to manage large groups of objects with optimization of collective concern. 4. Development of ways to optimize the information flows in complicated information and control systems (ICSs). 5. Control of primary information fields. 6. Development of the theory of integration and all-inclusive information processing in multi-sensor ICSs. 7. Development of coding theory and of hidden information transmission. 8. Creating the multi-alternative matrix theory of electromagnetic compatibility. 9. Development of the theory of gaming methods of electronic radio protection. The ways to address these problems are discussed.
