Influence of parameters of holographic radar for the characteristics of the formed image of the sea surface

Abstract:
The method of choice of the parameters of the holographic radar imaging of sea waves was considered. In holographic radar images of the sea waves, formed due to its dynamic characteristics, exist in the so-called «group areas». The position and dimensions of these areas are dependent on the parameters of the wave - length, the height and direction of run, and the parameters of aircraft flight - altitude and velocity. Angle control and removal of the field of view, altitude and flight speed of the aircraft allows you to select a mode suitable for the observation of various structures excitement. The best conditions for observing waves occur when flying along the direction of its run (across the ridges). Flight across the di-rection of running waves (ie, along the crests of the waves) is useful for monitoring anomalies of sea surface.
