Abstract:
The article presents the algorithm to determine the spatial coordinates of the object with ranging method by results of measurement of the distance between the object with unknown coordinates and objects in quantity N > 3 with known coordinates. The solution of the navigation problem is reduced to the solution of a system of three linear equations with a symmetric matrix of coefficients for which a solution is obtained in the form of simple formulas to determine the coordinates. Many of the parameters in these formulas are defined only by the above known coordinates and on the stationary arrangement of objects with known coordinates are computed only once. Developed navigation algorithm allows to calculate the coordinates quickly, with high precision and is easy to implement using modern components and microprocessor technology. The article also provides analytical formulas for estimating errors and an example comparison of the estimates of the geometric factor reducing the accuracy of the location obtained with using the proposed algorithm and one of the known algorithms. The presented algorithm can be applied, including, and in navigation and landing system that provides the approach and landing of aircraft on the airfield.
